Our favorite time of day is centers! The kids get to choose an activity each afternoon - as they play, the kids are developing fine motor skills, practicing problems solving and conflict resolution skills, and working cooperatively with peers.

Fire Truck Visit

We were lucky to have a visit from the fire fighters from the local Woodlands Fire Department. The kids loved getting a tour of the truck and learning about the tools the fire fighters use to help keep people safe from fires.

Our kids even got to tour the inside of the truck! Wow!

Welcome to K5!

It's a new year and I'm excited to welcome the newest group of students and families to K5 at Galatas! Our classroom is bustling with activity (it's inevitable with 18 five and six year olds!) and we're enjoying our first weeks in kindergarten together.
