Paper Folding Frenzy!

The kids were so interested in the origami cranes that we made for Multi Cultural Night that we decided to do another lesson on the art of paper folding. Mrs. Morris (a fourth grade teaching assistant) came to teach our class how to fold an origami dog and penguin.
Paper folding can be tricky, but the kids are now practically experts! They are learning more basic folds and are becoming more independent in following the step-by-step instructions.

Are the purple puppies cute? The kids are so creative and they've found ways to make even more animals out of all types of paper.
